MCAP

Windstone Behavioral Health (WBH) uses a nationally recognized utilization management criterion to evaluate the necessity of medical and clinical behavioral health services.  The MCAP (Managed Care Appropriateness Protocol) criteria from The Oak Group, is objective and is evidence-based and has been developed from relevant research and extensive clinical input from practicing physicians, nurses, and mental health professionals. It has been updated continuously since 1987 to reflect current and best clinical and case management practices.
